People are born, grow up, age, and die. This is the law of nature. There is no escape from death. Life is like an ancient Sphinx riddle. Think about the dreams you had as a child. Maybe no one dreamed of being where they are now. You might have imagined being a superhero fighting all evils, a policeman, a firefighter rescuing animals stuck in trees, or an archaeologist uncovering secrets waiting for daylight in history's hidden depths... But what really happened? Most of us probably became people who work tiring jobs during boring hours and return home physically or mentally exhausted. In the remaining time, we either deal with household chores or turn into zombies collapsing into bed after the little free time we have. The system demands this. You are no longer an individual. You are just one of the cogs in the system, a tiny grain of sand in the productive society model.
People are born, grow up, age, and die. This is the law of nature. There is no escape from death. When you die, most likely no one will remember you. This blog has a purpose — to reflect my perspective on life and my search for my place in it. I have two choices ahead: either become someone remembered for what they did, so that even if my body decays into the soil, my ideas keep me alive forever; or live a life where I hold my own strings and live as I know best instead of being part of this system.
Of course, I may establish a life standard with some proportions of both ideas, which time will reveal. This page is a personal diary, a letter from past to future, and a starting point to track my progress. Sometimes I will talk about my financial plans, sometimes my mental experiments. Sometimes about gardening, sometimes about using time efficiently or economics. Because this blog will be my life, my thesis, my representation.
What makes a person who they are is all their memories and the seeds of experience these memories plant in their soul, just like the rings of a tree. This blog will show you the traces my experiences and mind will leave on my personality.
I will start by taking concrete steps toward financial freedom and outlining a roadmap for myself. I will begin this path with the simplest but most important things you can encounter everywhere:
Be your own accountant. Be aware of what you spend and on what. Budget and manage your budget. Don’t be too stingy nor too wasteful. Don’t forget to treat yourself but also safeguard your future.
Money sitting in your bank account or pocket is money lost. Direct every penny you set aside into investments. Let money work for you. Let it grow by itself. Use the power of compound returns.
Read about different types of investments: land, real estate, precious metals, stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies, artworks, and others you can learn about. There is no single correct investment method; find what suits you and start.
Stay away from those who give you fish; respect those who teach you how to fish. Listen to advices but sift it through your own mental filter. Every sheep is hanged by its own leg.
Remember, the greatest investment is the one you make in yourself. Keep developing yourself continuously!
Live by the motto "The only thing I know is that I know nothing." Always be open to new ideas and learn from those who know better than you!
Time is the most precious treasure you have when it’s in your hands, but it’s irretrievable once lost. Use time well and value it!
What step will you take today to become the architect of your own life? I am Turkarius, and this is my life thesis!
